Madina has a vocal group of people living with disabilities who approached the charity to ask for training in soap making. HelpMadina provided them with equipment and a training programme. Since then they have rented a small workshop and make soap to sell in the local market. They are currently reinvesting the profits they make into the business and the soap is being used in the HelpMadina clinics.
HelpMadina has also been involved in the teaching of hand sewing skills for teenagers to enable them to make basic garments.
