All donations – large and small, monthly, or less regular – have a huge impact and are very gratefully received. All volunteers who travel to Sierra Leone are self-funded, paying for their own travel and other costs. Below are some examples of what your donation could fund.
£10 = Medicines required for one child admitted to the feeding centre
£16 = Four weeks supply of blood glucose strips for a young diabetes patient
£50 = Cataract removal from one eye to restore vision
£60 = Single hernia repair
£90 = Materials and building cost for a ventilation improved pit latrine
£300 – £1000 = Repair of non-functioning water well
£3,500 = New community water well with hand pump
